Located in the midst of a leafy oasis within the city’s dense commercial core, this luxury residential complex consists of an intricately detailed terracotta volume that sits on a crystalline glass base that connects the building to the city street while allowing the heavier volume above to appear to float among the trees. The language of the elevation is meant to evoke the urban blocks of North Atlantic cities with their gabled roofs, attic windows and stately facades, albeit in a more contemporary fashion.
